The Director is pleased to announce the approval of the Web Application Security Working Group charter: www.w3.org/2011/webappsec/charter-2017.html

The group is chartered through 31 December, 2018.

The mission of the Web Application Security Working Group is to develop security and policy mechanisms to improve the security of Web Applications, and enable secure cross-origin communication.
